Visual journalism is the new big thing. The New York Times wants to do 50% of its stories in a visual way. But where do you begin? Lam Thuy Vo started her career as a video journalist with the Wall Street Journal, did dataviz for National Public Radio and was an editor and reporter for Al Jazeera. Lam tells stories through code, data, video, audio, photo and text. She will tell you how to start with visual storytelling – and how to not become desparate.
